Lynne Hoggan (Luscious Lynne or Lush)
Lynne Hoggan originally from Slamannan in Falkirk started off her career in radio, when she was just 14, on work experience. Through time she became the tea maker, the Saturday receptionist and in general the 'helper'.
At the age of 16 she scooped her first on-air job and started co-presenting, followed by working at Trafficlink, reading traffic and travel reports for radio stations across Scotland whilst still working at her local radio station. She then got her own show called the ‘Saturday Shopping Bag’.
Lynne worked at Trafficlink for almost four years when an opportunity came up to cover the Breakfast Show with Joe Kilday, for a period to cover maternity leave, at another station. She continued her show at her local station and then received a call to work on the breakfast show on a more long-term basis where she stayed until movingover to Real Radio.
Lynne’s most unusual jobs both involve food; having worked in a chip shop and delivering Chinese takeaways, the great perk was free food every night.
In her spare time Lynne loves partying with the girls and is a self-confessed shopaholic. She thrives on finding a bargain although if the item is worth it she doesn’t mind a cheeky expensive buy either.
She’s a real girlie girl who loves shopping, bags, shoes, make-up and her job in radio!
Her favourite holiday hotspot is Blackpool, she’s been every year since she was a small child and feels it's like a second home.
