Want to lose weight without thinking about it - make these easy changes to save hundreds of calories without even trying.

Breakfast

Swap your bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for two Weetabix with skimmed milk. There's 390.0kcal in 100g of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, compared with 338.0kcal in 100g of Weetabix. Plus, where as you'd probably pour yourself a big bowl of Cornflakes, stick to just two Weetabix and you'll limit yourself to 126.8kcal.

Midmorning

Avoid Starbucks-style lattes and stick to the cheaper and lower fat option of instant coffee with milk. In a Grande Caffè Mocha you'll find 330kcal, compared with 15.4kcalin a cup of coffee (220ml).

Lunch

Swap a tuna mayonaise baguette with 1,071kcal for a tuna salad sandwich, 300 calories. Better still, there are only 250kcal in jacket potato with tuna (but skip the butter).

Snack

Swap your Mars bar fix - 259kcal - for a low calorie cereal bar. A Special K bar has 99kcal.

Swap a 40g bag of crisps containing 212kcal for a bag of Snack-A-Jacks, which have just 123kcal (in the cheddar cheese flavour packs).

Dinner

Swap an ordinary shepherd's pie microwave meal (450g, 455kcal) for a WeightWatchers one, which has just 216kcal.
