Real Radio are delighted to be bringing Status Quo to Glasgow SECC on the 14th December 2008.
Status Quo began as a rock and roll freakbeat band in 1962 with their major break through coming when they signed with the well-respected heavy rock and progressive label, Vertigo to release Piledriver in 1972. Throughout the rest of the 70s, they became one of the UK's leading rock bands, gaining a faithful following due to their live gigs. They are best known for songs from this era such as "Paper Plane" (1972), "Caroline" (1973), "Down Down" (1975), "Rockin' All Over the World" (1977) and "Whatever You Want" (1979).
Their success continued throughout the 80’s and 90’s as they racked up a number of new Top Ten singles and hit albums, as well as consistently selling out concerts across England and Europe.
